Overview
Since November 2011, floods and landslides have affected more than 23,000 people and damaged roads, houses, buildings and crop fields in 79 provinces. In January, the departments of Apurímac, Arequipa, San Martín, Tacna and Lima were particularly affected (Government, 15 Jan 2012).
