El Sistema Nacional de Emergencias dio a conocer la cantidad de personas evacuadas en los Departamentos de Durazno, Tacuarembó y Soriano, como consecuencia de las crecientes producidas en diversos cursos de agua. Técnicos de las áreas de vigilancia sanitaria y ambiental del Ministerio de Salud P=FAblica recorren diariamente los lugares afectados por las inundaciones, y no detectaron ning=FAn brote epidemiológico de hepatitis ni gastroenterocolitis.
