Costa Rica: Relief distribution for flood-affected families

Heavy rains have left 1,028 homes underwater in the Atlantic and northern areas of Costa Rica. Other damage includes two dikes, 50 sections of main and rural roads, and 50 bridges. All up, the repair bill will cost thousands of dollars, which will have a considerable impact on the area's economy.
World Vision Costa Rica sent approximately 400 pairs of children's shoes, more than 1,000 shirts, around 1,000 disposable diapers, pants, and toothpaste into one of the most affected areas.
