Heavy rains, strong winds, hail and flooding hit Georgia in the early hours of 19 Jul 2012, wrecking havoc on housing and crop lands. Year in review: small emergencies add up
CHF 178,771 has been allocated from the IFRC’s Disaster Relief Emergency Fund (DREF) to support the Georgia Red Cross Society in delivering immediate assistance to some 770 households (3,500 people). Unearmarked funds to repay DREF are encouraged.
