Khalifa Foundation distributes 17,000 food parcels to the poor in Sana'a

WAM SANA'A, May 16th, 2013 (WAM) -- The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation (KF) in Yemen has distributed 17,000 food parcels to poor Yemeni families in Sana'a.

The move is within the sixth stage of the Foundation's distribution of food assistance among the needy in implementation of the AED 500 million aid announced by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for Yemen.

IOM Airlifts 915 Stranded Ethiopian Migrants from Yemen, But Thousands Remain

An IOM-charter flight carrying 275 stranded Ethiopian migrants from Yemen to the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa will leave Al-Hodeida airport on Tuesday (25/9/12.)

The flight, which was funded by a USD 2.1 donation from the Netherlands, follows two other Dutch-funded charters on Tuesday and Wednesday (18 & 19/9) of this week carrying another 551 migrants. A third charter, carrying 89 medical cases and victims of trafficking, funded by the USA, left Yemen earlier this month.
