Sheikh Khalifa orders to build thousand homes for flood victims in Yemen

UAE President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has ordered to build a thousand houses for those who lost homes in the recent floods in Yemen.

The tropical storm and torrential rain which hit largely the eastern province of Hadhramawt earlier last month had caused extensive damage in the region. Hundreds of homes made of mud brick had collapsed in the flooding.

RCA opens relief centre in Yemen's Edid district

The UAE Red Crescent Society opened yesterday the Emirates Centre in the Yemeni district of Edid to provide relief assistance to the people affected by the floods which hit Yemen.

The centre's opening came in keeping with the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and H.H. Yemen: Emarati field hospital provides healthcare to floods victims

Sana'a - The UAE Field Hospital, set up by the UAE Armed Forces in the Yemeni city of Seyoun, has started to provide healthcare services to the people affected by the floods which hit several provinces in Yemen.

RCA delivers relief materials to Yemen flood victims

Sana'a - The UAE Red crescent Authority (RCA) has intensified its humanitarian efforts to ease the plight of the people affected by the floods which hit Yemen recently.

A delegation from the UAE arrived yesterday aboard a plane carrying tents, blankets and foodstuff as part of an on-going humanitarian programme, being carried out in coordination with the Yemen Red Crescent Society.

RCA to airlift 40 tones of relief to Yemen

A UAE Red Crescent Authority (RCA) relief plane will take off today to Makkala to deliver humanitarian assistance to population affected by the recent flash floods which killed scores of people and damaged properties in Yemen.

The relief will be airlifted in implementation of instructions given by President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to dispatch urgent humanitarian assistance to the flood-victims in Yemen.

UAE military to build field hospital in Yemen

The UAE will commission a military medical hospital in Seyoun to deliver health services to people affected by floods and heavy rains which swept Yemen over the past few days.

A UAE military medical team arrived in Seyoun yesterday to build the field hospital.

RCA, Khalifa Foundation to assess relief needs of flood-victims in Yemen

In line with the directives of President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister & Chairman of the Red Crescent Authority, has ordered dispatch of relief materials to the people affected by the floods which hit Yemen recently.

Sheikh Hamdan instructed the RCA to provide every possible help to the flood victims in Yemen to improve the humanitarian situation in the affected areas.

RCA allocates Dh2.6 million for Ramadan charity programmes in Palestine

The Red Crescent Authority (RCA) will deliver best services to fasters during the holy month of Ramadan in all Palestine with emphasis on the under-siege Gaza Strip.
