Internal displacement in Lebanon: new profile summary

The Global IDP Database of the Norwegian Refugee Council has now posted a country profile on internal displacement in Lebanon. A summary is presented below. The complete profile can be accessed at www.db.idproject.org or sent to you by e-mail on request (idpsurvey@nrc.ch).
During the Lebanese civil war (1975-1990), almost a third of the population, both Christian and Muslim, were displaced at one point. About 450,000 persons had not returned to their former home
