Colombia: FAO evaluará programa de seguridad alimentaria

Quipile en Cundinamarca será el modelo para que funcionarios de la FAO inicien montaje de evaluación y seguimiento.
Programa de Seguridad Alimentaria RESA ha beneficiado a más de un millón 800 mil campesinos en 840 municipios del país.

Bogotá, junio 1 de 2006. Quipile, ubicado en el departamento de Cundinamarca, será el municipio modelo para que funcionarios de la Agencia de las Naciones Unidas para la Agricultura y la Alimentación FAO, documenten las acciones realizadas por el programa Red de Seguridad Alimentaria RESA e inicien el montaje de evaluación y seguimiento.

In June 2006, Refugees International (RI) is launching its third mission to Colombia since February 2005 to generate greater attention and support for the internally displaced population. The internal armed conflict has displaced more than two million Colombians. The government of Colombia has taken some initiatives to stop the different armed groups responsible for causing displacement. Colombia: Gobernación entrega dotación de enfermería a víctimas de minas antipersonal

El secretario de Gobierno de Santander, Dídier Alberto Tavera Amado, entrega hoy dotación de enfermería al Hogar Jesús de Nazareth, que atiende en Bucaramanga a víctimas de las minas antipersonal.

El Departamento invirtió 30 millones de pesos en equipos de primeros auxilios y elementos de comedor y cocina.

Colombia: Para pagar a 150 mil hogares desplazados, este año se cuenta con recursos por $70 mil millones

El programa Familias en Acción ha entregado este año subsidios de nutrición y educación a 63.312 hogares desplazados, en tanto que durante el mes de mayo se efect?an los desembolsos a otras 17.828 familias afectadas por este flagelo.

Colombia meeting human rights requirements for continued U.S. aid
